«The real Piedmont, experienced far away from the hustle and bustle and tourists – that's what Giarvino offers.»
Before Fredy Wiederkehr found his vocation as host at Giarvino, he was a district secretary and director of economic development in the Bernese Oberland region in Switzerland. He also made a name for himself as the inventor and founder of Foxtrail, a company he successfully managed as CEO until 2018. He likes to share his knowledge of nature, the region and the wines of Piedmont with his guests and take them on an adventurous vineyard safari on foot or on the vineyard's off-road vehicle. He is the source of inspiration for active and nature-oriented experiences and theme days, and enthusiastically takes care of the wine and grappa cellars.
In addition to her role as hostess on Giarvino, Romy Dübener is obsessed with music and singing. She is a trained singer, vocal pedagogue, choirmaster and voice expert. With a great deal of creativity, she designs and directs, among other things, culturally orientated theme days. Guests can enjoy her love of detail at every turn – be it in the house, in the garden or in the courteous service.
He's always up to date about what's going on at the Giarvino estate. The speech is from Vizsla-Rüden Jarosz. He prefers to accompany the hosts on their excursions into the vineyards or the surrounding area, sniffing the tracks of deer, wild boars, foxes and badgers, who roam the area around Giarvino every night.
